Precision with warmth.

A clinic that tells you the number before you ask, keeps the lab forty steps from your chair, and never sells an add-on.

The room

Warm room. Exact numbers.

Both, at once. Neither is a manner. One is a thermostat and the other is a spreadsheet, and we show you both.

Approach

Warmth isn't a tone of voice. It's a set of decisions.

The same consultant every visit. Your name, not your file number, at the door. Results by phone from a person, on the day, never by letter. A plan on paper before you leave the first appointment.

The precision half is the lab, the scans, and the honesty about odds. The warm half is everything that happens between them. We don't think you should have to choose.

01One consultant, start to finish. If they're away, you know who's covering and you've met them.
02Numbers first. Our live-birth rates, by age, on this page and in the room, before you sign anything.
03Nothing sold that isn't proven. No add-ons list. If a treatment lacks evidence, it isn't offered, at any price.

We tell you the number before you ask.

Live births per embryo transfer at Calder, last calendar year, by the age of the person whose eggs were used. Yours is yours. These are the room's.

The lab

Forty steps from your chair.

On site, same floor, glass wall. The embryologist who looks after your embryos is the one who calls you every morning with the count. You can meet them. Most people do.

The first appointment

Sixty minutes. You leave with a plan, not a brochure.

0–15The story so far

How long, what's been tried, what you've been told. We read your notes before you arrive, so you don't have to start again.

15–35Scan and bloods

Ultrasound in the same room, AMH and a hormone panel drawn there. No second appointment to find out what we found.

35–55The honest conversation

What we think, what the odds look like for you specifically, and which of three routes we'd suggest. Including "wait".

55–60The plan, on paper

Dated, priced, signed by the consultant. Take it home. Nothing is booked today unless you want it to be.

A parent holding a swaddled newborn against their shoulder, eyes closed

The warm part was never optional.

The people

Small on purpose. You'll know all of us.

Two consultants, two embryologists, two nurses, one person at the door. Around three hundred cycles a year, which is few enough that no one is a number and many enough that we've seen your situation before.

Dr Hanne CalderConsultant in reproductive medicine. Founded the clinic in 2014. Still sees every new patient herself.
Dr Samuel AdeyemiConsultant. Male-factor and recurrent-loss clinics. Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Priya RamanLead embryologist. The morning phone call. Fourteen years in the lab.
Mara LindqvistLead nurse. Injections taught in the room until you're sure. Her number is on the plan.
